She was predeceased by: her father Paul A. (Lorene A.); and her brothers-in-law, Kevin Duffy and Robert Norton. She is survived by: her husband Verlan Lanter; her children, Michael Lanter (Catherine) of O'Fallon, IL, Nancy McVey (Michael) of Swansea, IL, Jan Whitaker (Duke) of Blue Springs, MO and Karen Lanter of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Nathan, Megan Lanter, Ryan, Erin McVey, Koty (Christy) and Samantha Whitaker; her great grandchildren, Elias and Sawyer Whitaker; and her siblings, Jean Duffy, Doris Norton, Robert Feder (Carol), Mary Kisner, Kathleen (Robert) and Richard Feder (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Cathedral of St. Peter or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
