William Moerchen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Moerchen (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moerchen and Mary Moerchen; his brother Richard Moerchen; his parents-in-law, Roland and Althea Thouvenot; and his sister-in-law Audrey Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Thouvenot; his children, Joseph (Jackie Lake), Mark and Lisa (Michael Hillyer); his grandchildren, William Moerchen, Paul Moerchen, Rachael Hillyer and Erika Hillyer; his sister Betty Cerulli; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Moerchen and Roland Thouvenot. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Teresa School in Belleville, IL or to the Belleville/Swansea Moose Lodge 1221.
