It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dyan Toepfer (Belvidere, Illinois), born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brown and Jeanette Scovel; her stepfather Delbert Scovel; her brother Jerry Scovel; and her grandparents, Joseph and Alice Nampel.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Toepfer; her daughters, Heather Palmer (Chris) and Heidi Brown (Bob); and her grandchildren, Aidan Brown, Zoe Palmer, Liam Brown and Abby Palmer.
