She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Herkey and Walter Herkey; her siblings, Kevin, Keith Herkey and Vikki Shelabarger; her father-in-law Roberto Lopez; and her brother-in-law Julio Galvan.
She is survived by: her husband Miguel Lopez; her children, Kevin, Chris, Michelle and Bobby (Nikita); her siblings, Donna, Sharon and Chuck Herkey (Yvonne); her sister-in-law Randi Herkey (late Keith Herkey); her mother-in-law Margarita Lopez; and her siblings-in-law, Salvador Lopez (Carolina), Roberto Lopez and Guadalupe Galvan (late Julio Galvan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
