With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Everett Sturges (Belvidere, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Sturges (Dykeman) and Ward Sturges; his wife Judy Sturges (Osterberg); his son Jay Sturges (Kristina); his grandchildren, Leah Sturges and Payton Monteleone; his siblings, Peter Sturges (Linda), Robert Sturges (Chris) and Theresa Sturges-Brown; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Sturges and Leo Hall; and his siblings, Dennis Sturges and Ellen Hall. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
