With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kelly Denise Smith of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joanne Smith (Hauri); her grandparents, Walter (Pat) and Lydia Hauri; and her uncles, Richard Hauri and Jim Wilhelm.
She is survived by: her significant other Cathy Musil Wescott; her children, Kristin Fritz, Jacob Fritz and Molly Fritz; her sister Cheryl Smith; her grandchildren, Emily Cassan, Katy Cassan, Allie Cassan and Jimmy Cassan; her aunt Carol Wilhelm; and her cousins, Jeff Wilhelm (Rhonda) and Jackie Wilhelm.
In her honor, memorials may be made to St. Croix Hospice in Rockford, IL or St. John's Lutheran Church in Union, IL.
