Lori Nicole left this world on April 5, 2025 at the age of 45, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her parents, John Bryant and Judy Bryant; her husband Bill Russell; her daughter Isla Russell; her stepchildren, Hailey Russell (Erick Holguin), Will Russell and Justin Russell (Sarah Henry); her brother Travis Bryant (Amy); her sibling's children, Sophie Bryant and Josh Pearson; and her close friends, Shannon, Renee O'Hare, Bridget Rasmussen and Maura Bryant.

“Lori was my niece and I loved her very much. My sorrow at her passing is unmeasurable..She was very athletic and played varsity sports in high school. She loved to kayak and play beach volleyball. She graduated from UNCW with a double major and went on to get her masters degree at East Carolina University. She was a very confident young woman and traveled outside the US alone. She loved her daughter Isla who is kind and loving just like her mother was.”
