He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ruano and Merry Ruano; his brother Marc Ruano; and his stepchildren, Samantha Jo Gipp-Burleson and Ryan Gipp.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Ruano of Belvidere; his sons, Alex Ruano (Lissa) of Loves Park and Nick Ruano of Roscoe; his brother Daniel Ruano (Connor) of Boulder, CO; and his nephew Aaron Ruano.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 9634 Ricky Trail, Belvidere, IL 61008.
