With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry John Chilson of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chilson and Elsie Chilson (Stevens); his wives, Gloria Gesell and Braida Norment; his children, Tom, Tony Chilson and Kimberly Hanson; his granddaughter Destiny Hanson; and his siblings, Ron, Dave Chilson, Doris Martin and Jenny Pearson.
He is survived by: his daughter Christy Chilson; his grandchildren, Ashley Chilson, Allison Derdzinski (Aaron), Tyler Chilson, Tanner Chilson (Hayley), Aubrie Chilson, Jesse Chilson, Mercedes Chilson, Natasha Bates and Austin Chilson; his siblings, Alice Przybylski (Edward), Doug Chilson, Phillip Chilson (Donna) and Edna Tilley (Tony); his daughter-in-law Tammy Chilson; and his partner Chris Martin. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
