He was predeceased by: his father Ira Walker; his parents-in-law, Lester Reininger and Virginia Reininger (Taylor); his brother Tony Walker; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Reininger and Steven Reininger.
He is survived by: his wife RaeAnn Walker (Reininger); his children, Jason Walker of Roscoe and Jennifer Sisson (Mark) of Belvidere, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Nicole Walker of Roscoe, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Jocie Veruchi (Adam), Jacob Horner, Benjamin Walker and Olivia Walker (Ollie); his mother Wanda Newell of Roscoe, Illinois; his brother Terry Walker of Roscoe, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Reininger (Diane) of Willow City, Texas and Bonita Reininger (Bonnie) of Waxahatchee; his friends, Randy Cox, Jim Taylor and Gary Leek; and his caregivers, Kara and Brianna. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to the Rock and Roll Institute of Rockford, Illinois, a non-profit organization that uses Rock and Roll music as a vehicle to educate and inspire musical youth to forge their own musical path - something he took great pride in, especially as he watched his granddaughter Olivia be a part of it.
