He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bertsch and Olga Bertsch (Henschen); his wife Elizabeth Knollenberg; his sister Mae Scott; and his son-in-law Howard Lust.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Rudisill of Marquette, MI, Marcia Bertsch of Wheaton, IL, Kay Lust of Bement, IL and Carol Baker (Randy) of Savoy, IL.
