He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Ard and Versa Scrimager Ard; his wife Annabelle L. "Ann" Perkins; and his half-siblings, Harold Ard, Carrie Dobson, Lela Wildman and Erdine Samples.
He is survived by: his close friend Mildred Cox; his children, Lee Ann Davison (Fred) of Norwood, OH, Steven J. Ard (Karen) of Champaign and Jeffrey R. Ard (Cindy) of Bement; his grandchildren, Jay, Stephanie, Amy, Brooke, Brandi, Kari, Julianna, Angela, Christina and Jeremy; and his half-siblings, Gene Ard of Somerset, KY, Sharon Dorsey of Waynesville, NC and Joan Trifilo of St. Pete Beach, FL.. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
