He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael R. Rekart, Sr. and Emily Rekart (Soltis); and his sisters, Linda Basso and Debra Vath. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Rekart III (Christine) and Jason Rekart; his grandchildren, Nicholas Rekart, Noah Rekart, Thomas Rekart, Lucas Rekart, Michael Rekart, Christopher Rekart, Braydon Rekart, Trinity Rekart and Triston Rekart; and his sisters, Judy Law and Cindy Rekart (Kam Bomkamp).
