Rose Mary Preston Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mary Preston of Benld, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rose leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Rose may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Altieri and Virginia Ungarelli Altieri; and her siblings, Gregory Altieri and Virginia Altieri. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Preston of Benld, IL; and her sister Lucie Altieri Weir of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
