With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen Ann Vargas of Bensenville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, Kathleen Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kathleen Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Ann. She is survived by: her husband Richard Vargas; and her children, Lorrie Vargas (Jessie), Rosie Dahlen (Doug), Richard Jr. Vargas (Elba) and Scott Vargas (Angie). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Geils Funeral Home (180 S York Rd, Bensenville, IL 60106). Viewing was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
