She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Giron and Marina Velazquez of Giron; her former husband Carlos H Shavez; and her nephew Alexander Flores. She is survived by: her sons, Carlos (Yolanda) of Bellwood, IL, Dennis (Carmen) of Sevilla, Spain, Paul (Michelle) of North Aurora, IL and Edward (Eileen) of Double Oak, TX.; her grandchildren, Nancy, Giancarlo, Paul, Dennis Jr., Anthony, Frankie, Gabriella, Analise and Adrian; and her siblings, Ivonne (late Stewart), Sandra (late Cesar) and Juan (Liz). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
