He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pirtle and Arlene Pirtle (Fyre); his spouse Gwynne "Pokey" Bailey; his son Jason Pirtle; and his siblings, Michael Pirtle and Billie Ann Pirtle.
He is survived by: his children, Alycia Lingle (Justin) of Low Point, IL and Arron Pirtle (Casey) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Cody Stine (Karlie), Grace Decker (Cordell), Norra and Jenna Pirtle; and his great grandchildren, Jerzie, Melody, Thea, Kodi and Maverick.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
