He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil S. Peterson and Roberta D. Patterson Peterson; his wife Norma Smith; and his sister Virgene Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Philip Peterson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, James Peterson of Benson, IL and Natalie Souders (Jeffrey) of St. Jacob, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon S. Peterson (Barbara) and Katrina Gessi (Brian); and his great grandchild Brandon W. Peterson.
He loved his rescue dogs, Roxi and MIA and memorials may be made to the Metro East Humane Society 8495 IL – 143, Edwardsville, IL 62025.
