We are sad to announce that, on January 2, 2026, Annette Lawson of Benton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Etta Dougherty and Charles Dougherty; her brother Charles "Chuck" Richard Dougherty; her husbands, Jim Lawson and Kenneth Shaw; her daughter Linda Kay Lawson; and her granddaughter Anne Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Poole (Kevin), Barbara Davison (Tim), Chuck Lawson (Susan) and Sheri Barnett (John); and her grandchildren, Miranda Engelken, Melissa Heinen, Keith Poole, Ryan Poole, Shane Lawson, Leah Lawson, Mackenzie Barnett, Selena Barnett, Madison Barnett, Alexia Martin, Ellie Barnett and Jace Barnett.
Contributions may be made in honor of Annette's legacy and have been suggested to the First Baptist Church of Benton, 201 South Main Street, Benton IL, 62812, in lieu of sending flowers.
