With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deon McClerren of Benton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Frank McClerren and Jaunita McClerren (Melvin); his wife Karen McClerren; and his brothers, Leon and Gary McClerren.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Garegnani of Carterville, Deon Douglas McClerren of Benton, David McClerren of West Frankfort and Darek McClerren of Benton; and his grandchildren, Heidi, Jennifer, Byron of Darek, TJ, Karen and Thomas. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reedy Funeral Home (604 E Main St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
