We announce the death of Jane Ann Burzynski of Benton, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 94. Jane Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dunning and Beatrice Dunning (Alexander); and her siblings, Glen Dunning, Gertrude Marcus, Dorothy Hogan, Helen Peterson, Mary Lou Burberry and Jean Thelson.
She is survived by: her husband Marion Burzynski of Benton; her children, Pam Burzynski of Marion and Randy Burzynski (Carolyn) of Mulkeytown; her grandchildren, Justin Burzynski (Cortney) of Christopher, Sarah Thuilliez (Mike) of Coello, Jarrod Burzynski (Alyssa) of Mulkeytown and Chad Stynchula; her great grandchildren, Jacob Burzynski (Regan), Tyler Thuilliez (Kayla), Hanna Burzynski, Gunner Burzynski and Emma Burzynski; and her great great grandchildren, Grayson Thuilliez, Kelsea Thuilliez and Harper Thuilliez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
