She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Hewitt and Myrtle Hewitt (Wilkenson); and her husband Carl Wayne Stipes. She is survived by: her sons, Sal Reyes (Kerry) and Mark Reyes; and her stepdaughters, Rora Luttrell (William), Roberta Carlson and Cindy Lou Elizando. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Benton and will be accepted at the services.
