She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Sentel and Faye Sentel (Corn); her nephew Joshua Sentel; her sisters, Virginia "Gigi" Johnson and Ruth Sentel Matyi; and her brother-in-law Donnie Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Darrel Launius; her grandchildren, John, Tammy Launius of Pinckneyville, IL, Christie Launius, Susan Rensing of Manhattan, KS, Amy Launius, Jim Reith of Crestwood, MO, Preston Launius (Madison Bock), Pearson Launius (Jillian Shaneyfelt), Porter Launius-Rensing, Oxford Reith and Willa Reith; and her brothers, Bob "Hot Rod" Sentel of Benton, IL, Bill Sentel (Julie) of Macedonia, IL and Kenny Sentel (Roberta) of Lake. She is also survived by three children and spouses.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leffler Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Benton, IL 62812).
Memorial Contributions and may be made in memory of Nancy to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
