He is survived by: his wife Darla Biggs of Benton, IL; his sons, Scott Forsythe (Joyce) of Whittington, IL and Mike Forsythe (Shannon) of Pleasant Plains, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Forsythe of Mechanicsburg, IL, Kelsey Forsythe (Diego Pina) of St. Louis, MO, Justin Forsythe of Ewing, IL, Matthew Forsythe of Benton, IL and Khilee McGuire of Carterville, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Skip Thomas of Benton, IL, Melissa Schultz of Benton, IL and Rocky Thomas of Papillion, NE; his great grandchild Travis Scott Forsythe; his brothers, Sandy Forsythe of Benton, IL and Terry Forsythe of Ewing, IL; and his niece Cris Forsythe-Vondras of Ewing, IL..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ewing Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial Contributions be made to the Ewing Baptist Church and will be accepted at the services.
