He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Buxton Hopkins, Sr. and Margaret Hopkins (Simpson); his stepfather Bert Blow; his brother Thomas Simpson Hopkins; his parents-in-law, Millard and Geraldine Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Robinson, Richard Robinson and Moetta Robinson.
He is survived by : his wife Loretta Hopkins (Robinson) of Benton, IL; his daughter Lynsey Hopkins of Benton, IL; his stepdaughters, Brandy McClintock of Benton, IL and Caroline Morgan of West Frankfort, IL; his grandchildren, Kaven Eston Pense and Aubrie Dawn Pense; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Allyson, Mia and Zelda; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyree and Harmony; and his in-laws, Leon Robinson of West Frankfort, IL, Lottie Toler of Marion, IL, Randall Ross Robinson (Brenda) of Birmingham, AL, Nancy Lare (Jim) of West Frankfort, IL and Barbara Innis of West Frankfort, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
