He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ashmore and Joyce Ann Ashmore (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ashmore (Payne); his sons, Jason Ashmore (Paige) of Sesser, IL and Ryan Ashmore (Nicki) of Crab Orchard, IL; his grandchildren, Halle Jo Ashmore, Landri Paige Ashmore, Ledger Chad Ashmore and River Brently Ashmore; and his sisters, Dixie Ventura (Bob) of Herrin, Bridgett Townzen of Herrin and Shawna Ventura of Herrin.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
