It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugo Martinez Gonzalez of Berkeley, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Jose (Concepcion Martinez) and Durango; his children, Hugo Jr., Richard, Carlos and Evelyn (Jesus); his grandchildren, Hugo and Giovanna; his son Edwin (Vanese); his grandchildren, Rene, Aksel and Yaslyn; his pet El Gordo; and his siblings, Mayela (Guerrero), Javier (Laura), Rene (Lupe), Nancy (Hebert) and Jose (Elvia). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews.
