She was predeceased by: her husband Gabriel Luksa Jr.; and her siblings, Rose Wrobel, Chris Plantago, Frances Lochner, Mary McKnight, John Plantago, Jim Plantago and Josephine Sughero.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Luksa (Gloria), Richard Luksa (Maureen) and Ron Luksa; her grandchildren, Raymond Luksa (Amy), Daniel Luksa (Renee), Becky Burkhardt (Brad) and John Luksa; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Natalie and Everleigh; and her sisters, Catherine Plantago and Lauretta Wagner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home (6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint William Catholic Church (2600 N Sayre Ave, Chicago, IL 60707).
