She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Michael; her son Michael "Mick" Rakitan (Liz Visteen); her siblings, Andrew Mark Swietek and Patricia Wright (Patrick); and her nephew Michael Anthony Giammusso (Caitlin).
