She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Thomas Shanna; her sons, Julian Sarabia, Alex Sarabia (Amy) and Matthew Sarabia; her grandchild Chavez Cruz, Jr.; her siblings, Ann Purdom (Chester Field), Corinne McQuilkin (late James), Elizabeth Hasse, Joan Carroll, Joseph Carroll (Cyndi), John B. Carroll, Jr. (Rebecca), Mary Rogers (Robert), Timothy Carroll (Lisa) and Cathrine Deady; and her parents, John B. Carroll and Florence Carroll.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Leonard Church (3318 Clarence Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402).
