She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bussis and Gertrude Bussis; her husband Gerald Boerman (Jeff); her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, Johanna Driesenga (John), Herman Bussis (Cora), George Bussis (Renetta) and John Bussis (Judy).
She is survived by: her sister Gladys Haveman-Huitsing (Geert); her daughters, Dawn Howard (Jim) and Carla Engel (Mark); her grandchildren, James Allen, Jenna Jones (Anthony), Jessica Allen, Cory Engel (Anna) and Bailey Engel (Lindsay); and her great grandchildren, Dani Harvey, Violet Engel, Sevy Engel, Lane Engel and Isabelle Engel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ebenezer Youth Ministry, Elim Christian Schools or Coffee Break Ministries at Ebenezer CRC.
