She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nickel and Emy Kilian Nickel; her husband James Seplak; and her cousins, Ruth Nickel Skulina, Günter Holthöfer and Liselotte Holthöfer Gippert.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Seplak (Lisa) and Karen Seplak; and her grandson Bradley Seplak.
