It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lidiya Vasilishin (Berwyn, Illinois), who passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lidiya leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her child Sergey Vasilishin (Roksolana Vasilishina); and her parents, Grigory Trohimchuk and Antonina Trohimchuk. She is survived by: her spouse Pavel Vasilishin; her children, Antonina Vasilishina and Pavlik Vasilishin; and her grandchild Saira Torres.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Linhart Funeral Home (6820 Cermak Rd, Berwyn, IL 60402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
