She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Rene Alvear, Rolando Alvear and Leticia Tinoco; her siblings, Eleazar Hernandez and Diana Toledo-Ventura (Ricardo Alvear); and her grandchildren, Pedro Tinoco, Ricardo Tinoco, Stephanie Tinoco, Sacramento Tinoco, Autumn Robin, Lissette Alvear, Angelina Alvear, Marissa Alvear and Devin Alvear.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parkwyn Funeral Home (6901 W Roosevelt Rd, Oak Park, IL 60304). A prayer was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Odilo Catholic Church (2244 East Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402).
