Richard T. Gomulka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard T. Gomulka of Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Gomulka and Mary Gomulka (Owca); his son Gary Zielinski (Valerie); and his sister Angie Gomulka. He is survived by: his wife Suellen; his children, Ronald Mentzer (Julie), Michelle Piven (Bob), Karen Farmer (Ken) and Marysue; and his siblings, Dianne Paliga (Steve) and Lenny Gomulka (Estelle). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Richards Church (5030 S Kostner Ave, Chicago, IL 60632). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
