He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Luz Elena; his sons, Rogelio Peña (Christina Siller), Gilberto Peña (Alma R. Alejos) and Juan Antonio Peña (Martha K. Alejos); his grandchildren, Hector A. Peña (Angelica Castillo), Angelina L. Peña (Nick Magaña), Gilbert II Peña (Amanda Vela), Amanda Luz Peña (Hugo Sanchez), Marla Rose Peña (Alfredo Reyes), Monica Elissa Peña and Karyssa Mia Peña; and his great grandchildren, Ariyana Luna Peña, Yuvia Genevieve Sanchez, Eli Ezequiel Sanchez and Audrey Rose Reyes.
