With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Belle McElroy of Bethalto, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Conrad Kee; her husband Donald McElroy Sr.; her sons, Leland Kee and Shawn Kee; and her stepdaughter Diana Barks.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Lillis (Vince); her grandchildren, Ashley Stoeckel (Craig), Adam and Ethan Kee; her great grandchild Kendra Stoeckel (Alex); her stepson Donald McElroy Jr. (Lynn); and her stepgrandsons, Jake and Cody McElroy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schaaf Funeral Home (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of Flowers please make a donation to the 5A's animal shelter, where she had gotten several of her feline friends over the years. Keep Anna's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
