We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 86, Benjamin M. Witt of Bethalto, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion and Julia Witt (Bond); his girlfriend Linda Poeling; his wife Barbara Francis; his siblings, June Ellen, Aaron Dean, James, Marion and Ray Witt; and his sisters-in-law, Caroline, Barbara Rose and Aileen.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Thompson (Marvin), Deborah Witt, Tracy Witt, Shelly Hillard (Jeff) and Brian Witt (Kristin); his grandchildren, David, Justin, James Thompson, Nolan, Amber Hillard, Benjamin, Haley and Cooper Witt; his brother Gary Witt (Elaine); and his sister-in-law Geraldine Witt.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to Bethalto Masonic Lodge # 406 or Shriners Hospital for Children. Keep Benjamin's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
