He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Aurand and Darlene M. Aurand (Plafcan); his brothers, Ryan Aurand, Gary Aurand and Kenneth Aurand; and his pet Rudy.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Afton Aurand of Nashville, TN, Casey Stickler (Kyle) of Moro, IL and Maggi Aurand of Old Monroe, MO; and his granddaughter Willow.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bethalto American Legion (109 S Prairie St, Bethalto, IL 62010).
