Donal G. Langendorf Obituary
We announce the death of Donal G. Langendorf (Bethalto, Illinois), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 79. Donal will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Langendorf and Irilla L. Langendorf (Pape); his former wife Adrienne (Ulrich); his brother William D. Langendorf; and his in-laws, Quentin, Rose Ulrich and Lillian Dannenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Dannenberg); his children, Donnie Langendorf (Jenna) of Hamel, Tony Langendorf (Mollie) of New Douglas and Tara Vaughan of Hamel; his grandchildren, Dakota Sellars (Jess), Colton Sellars (Emma), Rylee Depper (Tyler), Tyler Langendorf, Morgan Langendorf and Addie Vaughan; his great grandchildren, Levi, Ryan, Emmalyn, Tate, Lakeyn and Dani; and his siblings-in-law, Emmert Dannenberg (Gayle), Dennis and Alice Simpson (Mindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (625 Church Dr, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery - Hamel View.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Building Fund.
