He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell I. Furlow and Victoria B. Furlow (McMillan); his wife Emma "Grandma Pete" M. Gossett; his son Darrell Furlow; his son-in-law John Hohnsbehn; and his siblings, Robert Furlow, Betty Norris, Louise Miller, Ruby Koonce, Ruth Hammonds and Raymond Furlow.

He is survived by: his children, Nona Hohnsbehn of Litchfield, Janis Penning (Joseph) of Godfrey, Brian Furlow (Beauton) of Meadowbook and Neal Furlow (Monica) of Meadowbrook; his daughter-in-law Amanda Furlow of Meadowbrook; and his brother Clyde Furlow. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
