She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Russel and Nina Russel (Mercer); her former husband Jerry F. Bennett, Sr.; her daughter Sherrie Richards; and her brother Bert Norman Russel.
She is survived by: her son Jerry; her daughter-in-law Cindy Bennett, Jr. of Bethalto; her grandchildren, Cassey Lauren Bernstein, Trevor Jordan, Tadd Richards and Samantha Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Thomas, Emery Bennett and Finnegan Bennett.
