He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Fore and Charlotte Florence Johnson (Behl); his brother Robert Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Christina Johnson (Gaither). He is survived by: his wife Janice (Watts); his children, Angela Perkinson (Lance) of Bethalto, Steven Johnson of Brighton and William J. Rust of New Orleans, LA; and his grandchildren, Janice Perkinson of Bethalto and Logan Perkinson of Bethalto.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
