It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Lynn Kessler of Bethalto, Illinois, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Sullivan and Elizabeth Sullivan (Lamar); and her sisters, Betty Kelly and Peggy Stieglitz. She is survived by: her husband Gary D. Kessler; her children, Cindy Gardner (Craig) of St. Louis, MO, Jon Kessler (Ysbely) of Edmond, OK and Joe Kessler (Christine) of Brighton; her grandchildren, Jonathan Rabanal, Nathan Kessler (Brianna), Shelby Kessler, Kieron Kessler and Daniel Kessler; her great grandchildren, Natalie and Connell; and her sisters, Cheryl Daniels (Larry) of Meadowbrook and Mary Drake of Bethalto. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
