She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Grote and Myra Grote (McClain); her husband Jay; her son-in-law Jeffrey Fromme; her siblings, Jim Grote and Betty Haug (Jack); and her sister-in-law Sandy Grote.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Fromme of Bethalto and Della Damon (Andy) of Lee's Summit, MO; her sister-in-law Diane Grote of Collinsville; her grandchildren, Hillary Moradi (Kevon) of Sedalia, MO, Mark Fromme (Lyndsey) of Moscow Mills, MO, Jake Fromme (Alexis) of Edwardsville and Tori Mathews (Augie) of Yukon, OK; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Kylo, Haddon, James, Rhett, Rosemary, Alex and Cove. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Bethalto Morelan (201 South Moreland Rd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
