Though Mark may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude R. Cassidy and Fern E. Cassidy (Doolin); and his sister Melissa Ruth Cassidy. He is survived by: his son Ryan of Australia; his brother Michael Cassidy (Marilyn) of Glen Carbon; his sibling's children, Laura Brasses (Sam) and Bryan Cassidy; and his great-nephews, Jonah Cassidy and Luke Brasses.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
