She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roth and Sadie Roth (Hazelwonder); her husband Paul G. Friedel; her daughters, Dee Laux and Deb Deardeuff; her siblings, Alfred Roth (Chick), Ray Roth (Elfrieda), Mildred Kirbach (Ed), Anna Marie Retzer (Joe), Earl David Roth and Janet Klunk (Bob); her sister-in-law Paula Roth; her grandson Brian Brown; and her great grandchild William Deardeuff.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Friedel (Margie) of Bethalto, Kathy Flanigan of Arnold, MO, Patricia Brown (Edward) of Cottage Hills, Pam Schulte (Michael) of Jerseyville, Ellen Compton (Don) of Yantis, TX, Sharon Meyerhoff (Jeff) of Springfield, IL and Mark Friedel of Glen Carbon; and her brother Joe Roth of San Diego, CA.. She is also survived by her family, especially her 32 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
