With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael James Marko of Bethalto, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marko and Bianca Marko (Fornelli); and his sister Rose. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Sue Tucker (Arlie), Amy Jo Marko, Mike Marko Jr. (Amanda), Tiffany Marko Yiatras (Harry) and Casey Marko; his grandchildren, Zac Tucker (Kristen), Bianca Renken, Rebecca Renken, Michael Scott Marko, Mia Marko and Olivia Yiatras; and his great grandchild Charlotte Tucker. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
