It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Leroy Wylie of Bethalto, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Wylie (Kotsiras); his sister Mary Frances Wylie; and his father-in-law Joe Bayer. He is survived by: his father Leroy Wylie; his wife Amy Wylie of Alton; his daughter Abigail; his son-in-law Nicholas Wilmsmeyer of Bethalto, IL; his sons, Emerson Wylie of Alton and Sammy Wylie of Alton; his stepmother Judy Wylie of Swansea; his brother Tony; his sister-in-law Kristi Wylie of Caseyville; his niece Mia Wylie of Maryville; his mother-in-law Mary Bayer of Alton; his siblings-in-law, Jeff and Jessica Bayer of Portland, OR; and his friend David Freed of St. Augustine, FL..
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlands Golf Course (2839 Harris Ln, Alton, IL 62002).
