Zella Emde Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Emde (Bethalto, Illinois), who passed away on March 12, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Donald Lee and Katherine Lee of Bunker Hill; her former life partner Wesley Emde; her children, Don Emde (Emma), Dannie Emde (Cheryl), Patti Lindley (Jim), Andrea Emde and Byron Emde (Lori); her grandchildren, Tricia Smalley (Marc), Dane Emde (Cheyanne), Alisa Brinkerhoff (Rick), Dr. Jim Lindley (Kellie), Karen Wegman (Howard), Jay Lindley (Tricia), Warren Lindley (Kathy), Holly Mee (Doug), Peggy DiPirro, Eric Emde, Angela Colona (Richard), Laura Burrow (Richard), Leah Millard (Ben) and Wesley Emde; her husband Sadly; and her grandson Rick Embry. She was also cherished by 22 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

“To Zella's family, it is with great regret that I won't make it to her funeral. The corona virus has changed the way we live. My doctors would like me to be extra careful.
